Silence when I took the call and after 25 seconds - the phone reverted to dial tone. Suspected scam call.

Caller: Scammer Definitely need more than 30% scam score. She wanted me to test the speed of my internet connection. She said she would send out a technician who would fix it for free with the fibre-optic's. I think she also suggested that they would send me some software to download so I would be already when they fix the speed .

Well I did one better, and instead of getting offered fibre optic connection, I got offered SUPER fibre optic connection to the NBN. Same again, wanting speed tests, pretty dodgy.

Caller: Scammers Same as a previous Anoymous Have been calling for weeks! I picked up & they said there was a problem with my internet speed & they would send out a technician; I told them I wasn’t concerned and they insisted I google a speed test which gave me readings; I asked certain questions which they couldn’t answer & also for the company name - they didn’t give me one! Just said they were from the exchange. They then said I needed to have fibre optic cable installed to fix my internet speed & they said they would send someone for free! I told them No! I could hear a lot of background noise & the lady I spoke to was talking in a different language at one point; Nigerian I believe. I think these people are scammers!

Caller: Claiming to be from NBN or the like. Rang originally on landline. When disconnected rang back and this number showed. Claiming to be from NBN wanting to improve your speed. Gets you to google a speed test then a web sire called fast support. Apparently this site is legitimate but they want you to log in to it to provide them with remote access to your computer which is the scam.

Claimed my broadband would be cut off if I didn't speak to their technician. Definitely a scam.
