Claimed they are from Amazon

Amazon refund scam phishing for my one time password.

Scam. Said he was calling from Amazon. When I questioned him, he hung up.

Had the same German try and access my account - SCAMMERS - although they were good with their texts and emails - almost fell for it

Said that they were from Amazon asking to if they should authorise a purchase of $2500 for a laptop. I said yes and they asked me if I heard them correctly, I said yes and go ahead the charge, they were disappointed I didn't fall for the scam and hung up.

I have since checked my amazon and account and no I haven't been charged for a laptop.

When I picked up they didnt say anything so hung up on them. I hate these callers!

Claimed to be calling from Amazon payments - Indian/South Asian accent - I hung up within seconds - obviously a scam.

Caller: Someone claiming to be from Amazon (offshore)

A consultant from Amazon called me from a mobile "0488 897 542 on 12/10/21 around midday to ask if I had purchased an Apple device from Amazon. They had my former address and the details of my debit card and a gmail account to validate most of my information. The first consultant passed me over to a "supervisor" who then became more demanding and started to send me emails to my old gmail account that were very good quality badged as Amazon with only one link. I refused to cooperate and ended the call.

Indian accent, they said that someone in Germany purchased an Apple Mac from my Amazon account. At that point I knew immediately that they were trying to scam me, so I hung up and blocked the number.

Scammer with Indian accent claiming to be from Amazon and asking me to confirm if I placed an order. I replied no and he then asked me if I wished to cancel then asked me to quote the number from OTP text. The text came through, but I hung up.

Scam. Block the number.
