Scam about NBN and internet being discontinued. Check with NBN definitely not a call from them.

scam call... saying my internet has been disconnected due to technical error..and to press 1 to speak to the tech team to have it reconnected.. funny thing is, they called my home phone, which as we all know, when the internet is cut off when on NBN, the home phone doesnt work

I didn't answer but message was left in automated voice saying my NBN had been cut off due to technical difficultes and to "Press 5" to contact the technician for reconnection. SCAM (my NBN is working perfectly)

Home phone service is moved over to your NBN line. Check your router logs for a section marked VOIP

Attempted vehicle accident scam. Asian sounding lady, sounded like a couple of kids screaming in the background. Said I had been involved in a recent accident and wanted my personal details, name etc. clearly a scam.

Usual format, number not known to us and no message left on machine, as usual didn't wait for outgoing message to finish, so presumed a scammer and confirmed it on here!

Caller: NBN scammers

Obviously don't follow the "do not call" register. I let it ring out then checked the number on Reverse Directory. Came up with this NBN scam. Golly number display is great.

I just received the same call from 0488 416 081. It seems they change the number everytime.

I also received this call apparently from the 'accident investigator' upon asking for identification of what company/what legal specialty they were calling from they repeatedly stated 'the accident investigator' in a foreign accent.

No niceness about it, just DO IT press 1 or you will be cut off........ what I don't understand is that I am on the Do Not Call (checked to see that I am still on there), and they can call from a so called Australian Mobile number.... we need to outsmart the scammers! PS I didnt press 1 and funnily enough I am still connected to the internet perfectly!

I answered the phone and there was nothing!

"Dear customer, we are disconnecting your internet..." number now blocked. Why can't the government/telco's do something about this? This number has been getting logs in here for weeks but it is still active.

Saying ‘hello’ like three times in a weird voice..::

I have blocked this number as it's called x times previously. My phone tells me when they have tried again. They're persistent!

Called twice in 1 hour. No message. And I don’t have NBN.

Called the home phone. Was dead silent and quite suspicious as there is no response from the opposite end. Needs to be tracked down and the owner arrested since it's an Australian mobile number which should be dealt with by the AFP.

we have had 3 calls from this number within the last 2 hours. They do not leave a message and we will not answer them unless they leave a message so we have no idea what they are calling about. Sounds dodgy to me.

Funny thing is I ignore the call and my internet still works. SCAM.
