The person on the phone could not hear me, I couldn’t hear them. I tried to call back but said message bank was full. I was worried it was someone calling me about the jobs I have been applying for. So can’t say if it was a scam call or legit

Claim to be from Telstra telling me that they were going to offer me 50% off for X amount of time and then I can upgrade they had my first name and my number. My number is actually against my business and not my personal and when I said yes, what is the business name on the account though he kept saying my name and I said no what is the business name Just kept repeating himself had an Indian accent. When I said I know you’re a scammer. This is a business number if you knew who I was from looking at your Telstra details you’d be able to tell me this very simple information he hung up on me didn’t like being questioned. Got aggressive

Said from Mastercard and someone had stolen money from overseas. I don't have a Mastercard

They said they were from Telstra offering a big discount on my phone bill. Do not engage with them - will hack your Telstra account and order mobile phones and plans

why doesn't the telco remove these spam numbers.
