100% spam msg advertising the Rodney Clark & Sorbet 'Sale'.
Invasive, unwelcome and 100% ILLEGAL SPAM.

I recieved a txt msg saying hi with my name ????

This was a missed call on my phone.

Rang the number back after switching off ID.

Recorded message came back telling me, "Optus wishes to advise that the number you are calling has been disconnected".

The number called me at 10:45 in the morning.

By 6:30pm that same day it had been disconnected.

I believe a telemarketer/scammer has purchased a large number of mobile phone numbers from OPTUS with the prefix 0488 8_ _ _ _ _ and may actually be calling from an overseas landline and routing it through these mb #'s making it look like the call is coming from a mb, in an attempt to appear less suspicious.

I have received a number of these calls from mb #'s starting with 0488 8_ _ _ _ _ and when I call them back I get the same response.
