Its a call centre employed by charities such as surf life saving lotteries etc

Received a call from this number today @ 6.02pm, let it ring out & go to voice mail(message bank) but no message left, suspect scam or spam. Have had calls from this & similar calls before. I am sick of these type of calls, makes it hard for genuine numbers especially if not in my contacts list. How can these callers be stopped?

Received call to mobile. Didn't answer it and caller did not leave a message when it rang out. Have received a number of calls from similar numbers over the past few days. Same outcomes.
