Caller said they wanted to get a message to the person that lived across the road from her, sussing out whether she was home and then asked for her address!

Caller: Rob

This man wanted to get a message to my neighbour. I queried how he had my name, number and address. Said it was from a n old directory. I passed the message on to the neighbour. They’d also had a note left in their letterbox. Very dodgy.

Caller: Rod

Rod was this wankers name that owns this number, fraudulent bastard tried to scam my son.

Caller: Unknown

Asked me if I knew a John Sam, hung up after I said said no

Caller: Rod or Rob

Same message as above, asked me to get a message to someone who lived in the same complex as I did 5 years ago! I said I'd moved and he asked if I was close by?

Caller: Rob/Rod?

Similar to Monique was asked if I still lived at 'x' suburb on 'x' street - asked to find a person I've never heard of in the place but then asked if I was still in a different suburb, then called him out on that and he said 'oh yeah 'x' then I said it was a unit block' oh yeah I was just trying to find 'person'.

Sounded pretty confident/legit to start but as the call went on more dodgy. Be warned! Block/report the number! 'Got my number from a directory'.
