phone rang three times then stopped. didnt leave a message. guessing its a spam call. blocked number

Scam artist - asking for personal information under the guise of you being a competition winner. Male voice says the call may be recorded for training purposes, then proceeds to ask for full name, age etc to verify your "eligibility" to claim the prize (travel or shopping vouches). Hang up immediately!

Caller: No idea

Said hello to me in English and then proceeded to speak some other Asian language. (I denied the call and they left a voicemail)

Scam hang up immediatley! They siphon your details and sound english

Female with English accent ..prize winner ...competition you entered ....hang up

Caller: I dont know

Rang a couple of times then hung up

they tried to confirm my name, I asked who was calling, they told me i had won an iPhone in a competition I had entered...definitely a scam..I told them I hadn't entered a competition for an iPhone..they said ok and hung up.

Called at 5.23pm and no message - telco advised of potential spam when phone was ringing

Called and claimed I had won a competition but I had to verify some questions first - so I hung up.

tried to call me saying I won a gift voucher- assuming this is the gift voucher scam they are talking about at woolies!
