Tried to say that I was in the running for a competition I had supposedly entered online, trying to imply he would be sending me an android tablet to my home address, when I queried what completion I had entered he was vague and said it was just a pop up competition on the internet, and that he just needed to check some details out, he had an old address of mine, which is when I hung up!

Just had a phone call from this number, male voice said I had completed an online survey about being a home owner then asked if I was a home owner, and said I had won an android tablet and did I currently have one, I said no, he asked if I would have any use for one and I said no again (obviously I was very suss about the call), caller quickly ended the phone call after this.

Said he was calling about a survey I had taken to win an iphone. I said I don't recall doing a survey to win an iphone. He said it was probably a while ago, for Woolworths, and he just needed to ask me a few questions. I said I wasn't interested and hungup.

This number keeps calling my phone. The one time I answered & said hi, a make voice said hello & hung up. Why keep calling my phone then ??? Beware this person is not right in the head

Yes in line with previous persons experience, I apparently won an android phone from vague competition. He said he was from some company called Empire and I was the lucky winner. Obvious scam I politely said I couldn’t speak at the moment, he sarcastically said oh your busy are you and hung up!
