Caller: an email from cameronpeckhm @ gmail.com, then a WhatsApp message which was from ~smile I was selling an item on gumtree and I got a response from an email address 'cameronpeckhm' (Peckham without the a). From a remote part of Darwin and he was unable to ring me. Then I got a weird call from WhatsApp named '~smile' with a message at midnight, I had no clue who this was from. Then I received a few more emails, the final one saying the courier was charging him $1500, but he could only use PayPal to pay the courier, as the courier did only BSB to BSB,. He then said could he send me the $1500 and I pay the courier. At that point I said No, but that was not before I gave him my address and bank details. I am a newbie on the selling scene, I received another strange WhatsApp from '~ smile' at 2am today, 20th April 26, with empty words.
