Caller: Intercove.net or inter-cove.net They once claimed to be the world’s most successful trading platform and frequently talked to me about investing—Intercove.net or inter-cove.net. They pressured me heavily to invest more money, but I was always hesitant. I did lose my initial deposit of $250, but nothing beyond that.
They asked me to add $5,000, when I said I will do it in a week, immediately gave away credit to start trading promising extremely good returns based on trading AI algorithms which have cool predictability. Who does that? Every so often, they’d demonstrate trades where I’d supposedly make $100 profit within seconds. When I asked them to show me how to do it myself, they avoided giving me a straight answer.
The "money" was just numbers on their website—I was sure of it. They would insist I keep everything in cash, claiming that CBA was unreliable and telling me not to inform Kinesis, calling everyone else "crap."
Thankfully, I kept doubting and delaying. Now their websites don’t work. You can guess why.
Stay alert. Remember, the money you see online is just that—online. Unless you have full control over the accounts, you can’t trust it. I understood the risks and wasn’t overly confident. While the numbers looked tempting, it wasn’t enough for me to risk more money without having control.
