If you ever signed a petition for stopping the firearms trade in for Gaza in Australia, then this is who will call you. They will ask for a donation of 10 a week, and if you say no will ask for 5 then 2. They will ask to do it over the phone, and you need to push to get a website. I’m not sure if this is legit or not, but just letting everyone know that this is what the call is about.

If you have recently clicked on one of their social media campaigns to get a "free" item - this is them calling to ask for a donation or sign up longer term to donate.

I think they are posing as different charities to scam you out of money. Because it seems like they are never from one company

Keep calling me. Don’t know who they are. Comes up as suspicious.

Has called 4 times in less than 4 hours. One of the calls I answered and announced myself and the caller hung up immediately. Has continued to call after that. Suspect it to be spam but can't find any information.

From the other posts not a scam. Appears to be an agent for charitable organisations. They are legally able to cold call.

Thankfully I have a habit of never answering phone calls unless they leave a message, despite potentially losing income. This number has resurrected from about two months ago; today they have rung me three times.

So I've rung Amnesty International and am happy that their protocols act against this sort of victimisation. They will investigate and take what action they can, including likely reporting this number to the 'Do Not Call register.

The criminality of the mind which organises this sort of spam should be jailable. Their casual part time (and likely hard-pressed, if not desperate) coalface workers are profoundly abused by them. But Australia's states are barely beginning to enforce "controlling behaviours". Our culture has got such a long way to go.

Had to block the number after multiple calls a day, they were trying to call to ask for donations and after ignoring multiple calls each day for well over a week, enough was enough as they got more frequent

They keep calling every hour. I just know it’s scam. Have no time to waste with bs people. I keep ignoring but it’s getting worst calling every hour leaves no messages. About 4-6 calls a day.
