They have phoned before. No message left and I had blocked them already. They try to divert anyone who answers or clicks anything, to a website that my security flags as a dangerous website. So they are scammers, do not believe they are a charity, they are not.

Caller: Claiming to be from Foodbank

I stupidly clicked a Sponsored Ad that was supposedly for Foodbank promotion on Facebook. After keying in my mobile number I realised it wasn't probably real when it came up with 'we will call you tomorrow'. I received a call from a guy with an American accent. He is persistent & rang a few times before I blocked him. He uses the old Sales Technique of getting 3 yeses to get me to agree to a weekly $ donation to Foodbank.

Rang then hangs up as soon as I answered it. Was flagged as spam but I touched answer before I realized I did and so I went to continue with the call to be hung up on.

The number relates to a company working on behalf of multiple charities.

Can't find anything online, but my samsung autodetect flagged it as a Telemarketer so I didn't answer. Left no message
