Just had a call from them. Some energy company. I politely said "Sorry, I can't talk right now" and she continued her spiel anyway. hung up and blocked the number.

You do realise you are able to hung up yourself? you don't need to request them to hang up.

The lady definitely needed to use a better tone. I hung up after explaining I was not in charge of the bills and I was not interested. But thank you anyway. Probably a scammer trying to get info.

they tricked me into answering because it was a mobile number- but then I couldn't get off the phone with them. pushy, asking about electricity bills, asking for more information about bills.

Cold call telemarketer.

They called my work number and tried to tell me they were notifying me of a rate change. I told them I was not with Simply Energy and did not give out my work number to any energy providers. I then told him I was also not interested in changing provider so did not want to waste his time. He thanked me and hung up.

Instant blocked. Knew it was a scam number.

Missed call. 'silent' message on my voicemail. ........... have now blocked the number.

Never bother to pick up calls from this number. They won't let you go. I knew my electricity company is the best, I still talk to them and compare the price, their price is 20%higher than my current electricity bill. Never trust 30%,70% etc, they are all scam!
