Scam from Carsales, I work on an oil rig etc.

private car sale. the scammer was asking me to pay a third party who was supposed to pick up the car. Extra cash supposed to be in Pay Pal. The scammer sent through "Pay Pal" documentation and a copy of the driver's license. The scammer was buying the car for his son however the DOB on the license was 1993 and assuming the son was 18 years old then the scammer was 11 when his son was born.

SCAMMER!!!!

SMS: "CARSALES: Sarah emailed us regarding your listed car, is it still up for sale? reply to her directly via smatt001.au @ gmail.com now."

I'm glad to hear back from you, sincerely calling you would have helped a lot but due to the nature of my work we do not have access to a phone at the moment, which is why I contacted you via email. I work with Australia Oil and Gas and we are presently offshore in Gippsland Basin V22–1, Central Deep till 29 March 2023.

I am buying it for my first son as a birthday gift, I want it to be the perfect gift for him and am making it a surprise package, Does it have any history I should be aware of? And why are you selling it if you don't mind my asking. I'll contact the freighters that will handle the pickup and delivery as i won't be able to come please understand my situation. I will really appreciate if you can email more info

Due to the nature of my work i am a very busy woman working all day, we're presently on the sea, i don't have access to my bank account online as am not with my credit card details here but i have my ANZ bank account link up with my PayPal account so I will be paying you through PayPal to your nominated bank account or better still is if you have a PayPal account, please get back to me with your BSB and account details or PayPal account so i can proceed with the payment and contact the courier agent who will come to pick it up and deliver it in NT for my son. Await your reply.

put an item on gum tree they are asking me to email them, when I checked my messages on gumtree no one had viewed the item message said send me a email at shirleypoole 686 @ gmail.com scam
