Caller: Australia Post Update Text from Aust Post but post office says it's a scam because Aust Post does not used mobile number to sms. However the sms advises that an article I was expecting has been returned to sender, quoting correct last four digits of tracking number. Phoned Aust Post customer service and they told me the same thing. Scam? or No scam?

Got message at 5.40pm although my delivery was returned due to not being home... What found interesting was they had a random number ending 4 digit number of delivery to some thing I'm waiting for. Yet telephone number different to other numbers from Australia post. Text Claims to be from Australia Post update. Article ending: ???? In transit. Estimated Delivered Date 31/05/2024. Need Help? Visit Web page """ auspost etc" """"To stop receiving further updates reply STOP.

Caller: Unkown Message from auspost, but I'm not expecting any parcels matching the number provided (generic number used at the end of most auspost orders was provided).
