Filled in a web form to win a eBike and within 10 seconds they called me, have had a further 3 calls within 4 hours

My phone not only reports this as suspected scam, but the company that calls "Compare the market" was not the advertised company "Billy Sumo" That I entered the competition to win an electric bike through. I've blocked them after receiving 4-5 missed calls a day over the weekend, and 3 before lunch today alone!

This number called me and said it's from Time Connect. Not sure what it is but it has been calling my for days. Annoying.

Rang me this morning after I put my details into a webpage about energy saving that didn't give me a comparison but said they would ring me back!

ignore calls from this number, they pretty much call to spam you, i have blocked the said number

Billy Sump flogging an Advestising for e-bike if we do a Comparison with their Call centre but where one had no choice but to use your Mobile number which I never like giving out to any marketing organization no matter what they claim in their Privacy policy. Because it's all rubbish they never honour it !

Billy Sumo telemarketers 18 phone calls in 3 day.
Answered 3 calls asking to stop calling as not interested.

Entered e-bike competition yesterday, it mentioned Compare the Market would contact me later. Comfortable with that but prefer to use the Vic Govt comparison site which has provided outstanding results.

A competition for an eBike that lasts for ONE year! Read the T&Cs, it states ”promotional period” which means exactly that. And you may not even win an eBike but a substitution prize, & may receive something months later…
It’s promo bait & providing your personal info gives them license to telemarket to you.

Don’t ever be BAITED to give out your personal details. Refrain from entering competitions online that don’t list competition Close By & Draw Date; and have no Registered Competition Number. Your personal info can be farmed out to other Piranhas. “Billy Sumo” seems to have a country load of eBikes to endlessly win!

Don’t be lead by this BAIT for your info. Your personal info goes out to umpteen other Piranhas. Billy Sumo must have a country full of bikes to win. That scam has no Close By nor Draw Date; & no Registered Number for the (alleged) competition. Block all these calls
