Received a text enquiring about advertised goods on gumtree with instructions reply to a gmail account. Number is a disconnected optus number. I've had loads of these type of scam attempts and always check on here first to see if the number has 'history'.

Telling me that I win 5.5 millions, give a suspicious link

Text message: 'Notice from ABC Webinar Company - your account is overdue by $5,353.52 - please contact us on ricardo (link) or 0444 888 999'

No thanks, ricardo. Avoid scam

Received text asking for rates payment to be made at livingstone council website. No ability to opt out of text messages even though I've never been to QLD...
