I had a missed call from this number and I called back and a Filipino-sounding lady said something about government, super accounts being blocked, funds being taken/frozen?? Knew my name, then asked if I was between the age of 27-(didn't catch the rest of her words cos I had just woken up and was thinking wth, is this a joke?) and I blurted out "Is this a scam?!" She asked do you have a super? Do you know what super is? Superannuation? I didn't reply with anything except "Uhh is this a scam" (lol) and she eventually hung up.

Yes, I got the same call from a lady with an accent, same blurb. When I asked why she was calling me she got annoyed and repeated her statement, and I said again "so why the hell are you calling me" and hanged up.

Caller: Lady with Asian accent.

Something about a national survey or something. She said the call was being recorded for "quality purposes" or something like that, and then I just hung up.

I had them call twice this week on 0488 822 921 and 0488 822 989 saying they are calling from the "National Review Service" and how recent government changes may affect my super policy ?? Didn't continue the call, sounds like a scam.

I half answered the questions, what do they do with these answers? How do they get you?

They call me every day in the afternoon. I have learned from different posts here that the 488 number is some spammer. I don't answer. They ring for 19 seconds and then stop. I blocked them but some other similar numbers keep calling. Very frustrating.

Its scammers, calling me about my supperannuation fund. Asking me about personal details and chanhegs in policy. She couldnt tell me what superfund i was with and i hung up.

Called asking is that Mr Salemi. I replied NO, think you have wrong number, they then went into a spiel about ringing regarding my super choices. Asked me for my name. I said I'm not Mr Salemi who you originally enquired about, so you have a wrong number and i'm not giving you my name.
This was a scam phishing for my details.

Female with asian accent wanting to discuss Superannuation - She knew my full name. I asked which super it was in regards to as I have several - she couldn't answer. I still gave her the benefit of the doubt. She then mentioned a review and if she could ask just 3 questions. The first was my age bracket. Well if she knew my full name she should know my age - so.... I told her "I don't trust this phone call" and I hung up.

No message, didn't call back.. I see it's a scam. I usually give them a mouthful of irate me.. they always call when I am at work.. so the office gets a nice show!! Idiots!! I worry about the people who give these fools the time of day and let them have any information!! Don't give them anything!! they are not the taxation dept of your bank or a legit electricity company!! Put their numbers on ignore!! These numbers need to be banned from connecting by our phone companies!! OPTUS!! Please!!

100% SCAM
Refused to tell me who he was working for until I answered his questions and said he got my phone number off "researchers" who find the number of everyone in Australia with superannuation to call and tell them their insurance is changing because of government policy, wouldn't say what policy or if it was federal or state.

Why the f*ck are we all getting these calls!!! f*ck OFFFFFF!!!
