Said it was a short automated research, hung up, don't to Market research, but reading the comments, looks like a scam

Got three calls from this number in one hour. I don't answer numbers I don't recognise. They did not leave any message. I will now block the number.

Did not answer. Phone blocked call automatically. Then checked this site

I said to the idiot, can you hold on for a second I want to start recording this conversation so I can give it to the ACCC Scam Watch Australia along with the number you are using that is provided by Telstra 0488 822 702, funny thing I haven't had anymore calls.

Don't know, but thanks to other posts on here, I guess that my instinct to let it go was right. Nobody I know would be ignorant enough to call me "right in the middle of dinner"! i.e.6.10pm,

Thanks to everyone who reports -- I cannot block any numbers but I include them in the Scam list - thus when ringing it shows Scam - I do not answer.
