This number calls every night at the exact same time

absolute scam scum...block it...report it

My landline has been ringing from this number 4 times in a matter of 2 hours..it's so annoying..

First instance but is suspicious.

has called many times over the last few week to my mobile phone. I have never answered this as it is not a known number.

I didn't answer in time then star 10 hash to see if it was a crank call. Obviously was.

2 attempts they made - were 'missed calls' 1/2 hour apart 6:30pm then again 7pm

rings my phone and wifes phone on a regular basis I've blocked the number so now its disconnected immediately.

I have this number diverted to "Its Lenny" (Google it), they chatted for 2 minutes before giving up.

Keep getting hang up calls from this number. I've now blocked it and used the https://www.reachtel.com.au/do-not-call address to unsubscribe (would like to know who signed me up...). It's so insulting that they feel they can waste people's time by prank calling with a machine. The Do Not Call list doesn't even cover this spam. Useless.

as soon as i answered it hung up. I called back and got an answering machine saying it was Reachtel

Yeah,,,,,,regular caller says nothing. Pain in butt! Doesnt answer just hangs up

on answering, the automated message announces 'This is Reachtel, we have one of four surveys...' then disconnected. I'm guessing it is fishing to see what mobile numbers are active.

they won't stop calling me! It's an automated voice system

they never leave a msg, so why should I answer, get this type every day

I am worried this one could be even more insidious in that it might not actually be ReachTel (I quite like doing the political surveys - tell the pollies what I actually think). However these calls have a distinctly less professional nature than other ReachTel surveys that I have done and after three questions push you toward indicating which of five or six well-known charities you favour. When you select one, they indicate the charity will follow up in the coming days. I didn't seem to get the call but warned everyone in the house to be alert and not provide any CC details to callers following up the survey. I have had a couple of these calls now - so I should speak to ReachTel and find out if it's legit.
