Told me I had entered a competition to win $1000 or an iPhone. “Good news! You’ve been entered to win a $100 voucher at Dan Murpheys, Bunnings” something about a zoom financial conference to help with retirement. As soon as I said it didn’t apply to me they were gone. So I assume they are scamming elderly people.

Called back and number is not connected

Caller: not sure !

MMM i thought i was stitched up by my friends with this one so played along with it until they asked if i own 150$k of equity in my house hold.... Asked to confirm my surname , if i was aged from 30-50...

Caller: Never caught the name

Personally I think they are debt collectors updating info...

Apparently my spouse entered a competition (but could not advise which one), but used my phone number ??? He's won an iPhone or an overseas holiday apparently. Seems to be a marketing strategy to get you to hear about investment opportunities.

Said I entered competition to win $100 Bunnings voucher , asked I was under 58 and said no, so ineligible . Don’t remember entering a comp.

Returned call, was a lady saying they were looking for a Jared (not my name).

Called number back and an Australian man advised that I won a competition for iphone or voucher and explained I didn't do that and he hung up instantly

Called number back and got automated response saying number is not in service
