Caller: Bian from One Life I missed the call and I listened to the message left on my phone. He knew my name and I had been expecting a phone call in relation a court hearing. So thinking it may've been that, I phoned back.
He was very vague (cold canvassing) and said something along the lines of: "How are you? I'm just following up with you after our chat last week. How are you going with it all?" I went along with it and said that I was going good with it. Then after an awkward silence, he told me that he was from One Life.
At that moment, I hung up. I have received generic phone calls from the company before, quoting my name then asking how the school holdays are going with the kids. For starters, I don't have kids and at that time it was not school holiday in my state but it was in the eastern states. So I knew they didn't actually know me.
So after googling One Life and it's creator Roy McDonald (& Born Rich) this is not a person/"company" that I would hand my hard-earned money over to. Seminars costing in excess of $10k for financial advice and claimingto be able to turn $1 into $1mil... I don't think so! Some of the information that I have read about Roy and his company sounds very cult-like.
