I have gotten a few calls recently starting with '0485 994' - all seem to be male Chinese speakers who start talking as soon as the call is picked up.

Someone called and speaking in Mandarin. Tried to call back but showed call failed.

Caller: I don't know He suddenly started speaking in a language I believe was Chinese. When I told him I didn’t understand, he continued speaking in Chinese, which didn’t make sense. It’s likely one of those persistent Chinese spam calls.

Rang a few times and no voicemail left. Suspected scam calls again. Been getting many 048... calls of late. BLOCKED! Just don't answer any of them.
