Caller: Electricity scam Ringing to advise me about my electricity bill being overdue. Couldn’t tell me company name of who my electricity bill is with. Then told me the wrong company.

Unknown caller called. I did not answer. They failed to leave a message to my polite invitation. Highly likely a scammer. Terminated!

I foolishly answered the call let them speak for a couple of minutes before the started talking about my non existent electricity account I then hung up. Caller had a thick Indian accent

Started by telling me about the electricity price increases that started the 1st of July. Asking me who my electricity provider is. Telling me they can help reduce electricity bill without me having to do anything.
