Don't answer calls you don't recognise. You could get locked out of your own phone like I did! The screen was moving but I was locked out. I couldn't even turn my phone off!
If it was someone legitimate then they will contact you another way!

Suspect a scammer, or a telemarketer
Claimed to be an enery company trying to "help" home owner get federal goverment electricity rebate.
Asked them where they got my full name (actaully my preferred name). Said from somewhere.
Told them I am renting then been hang up straight away.
Suggest to hang up them straight
