Caled and knew my name and my job title and tried selling a scheme to me

They know my name, but that’s about it. They tried to pretend to have spoken to me previously, then tried to squeeze info out of me, like do I own my property. I hung up after that.

Caller: Active Financial consulting

Person knew my name and claimed we spoke “last September”. Said a whole bunch of things regarding finances and tax that made him sound official - like he’s from a bank or tax office. I asked him what company he is calling from and he said “Active Financial Consulting” then asked me if I owned my own home. I then hung up. Checked and found there is a website by that company name, looks dodgy as. Their tactic seems to be to confuse you then attempt to get info out of you inadvertently. Don’t tell them anything. Just hang up.

Called me asking if I was interested in buying a property. And if I considered “rest-vesting”.
