got a missed from this number. called back but not connected.. ghost number. definitely scam.

Had a missed call from 0485 978 282. I called it back and it said 'your call could not be connected'.

I block any number that’s not already in my phone but I still see who tried to call. This number tried to call me today and 3 weeks ago. No idea who or what it is but if the number is not in my phone I simply don’t answer it.

Received multiple calls that don't even ring and just hang up. My Android has marked it as Suspected Spam and number cannot be reached so I blocked the number. These numbers can easily be changed so not sure of any future calls.

I also have been pounded with these scammer numbers. Must be tough trying to find a real job out there and working for a living!! I also will be emailing the Telecommunications Ombudsman - I have elderly family members who rely on contacting me anytime, from anywhere on any device and when a voicemail is not left I refuse to answer………pity help if I miss an emergent call!!!!!

Exact same intro with my call from this number. They then proceeded to ask if I was a home owner, and when I answered 'no' they hung up. Weird scam.

Called, left no message

Called back and "Your call could not be connected, please check the number and try again"

Caller: Foreign female

Called me at home during the weekend. I said I don't know you, why are you calling? Foreign female said she could save me lots of money. I told her to pull the other leg. Confused, she hung up on me.

On answer the caller didn't speak. I got the feeling my voice was being recorded so I stopped saying "hello" and then I heard them hang up.

Caller: Foreign unknown female

Clearly, this caller was attempting to scam me & seeking my personal details.

When I answered, a female voice said "Hello Hello" and they then went silent. A few seconds later I hung up.

Answered this unknown call from a mobile number (as I run three businesses) and the minute I said hello, they hung up. I called the number back and it said "the number could not be connected". Blocked. Clearly a scammer trying to determine when the caller most likely answers, so they can call back another time.

Scam. Blocked!

answered the call from this number and then just hung up on, will block the number now.

Same as the others no response.
