Offering to give me better rates for Gas and electricity. Knew my current electricity supplier. Offered better rates but hung up when I said I want to see the rates in an email before I decide. The caller was disguising the fact that by receiving an sms message that I was agreeing to change provider! It's a well designed scam call!

Just called, wouldn’t take no for an answer. I hung up and he called back yelling at me “ why would you hang up?. Now I’m disconnecting your power at your address, expect to have no power in 2 days “ then proceeded to tell me to have fun at ….. and listed off an old address with no power. When I asked him are you with my power company? He continued to yell at me and say “ I’m disconnecting your power at your house now”.
