Caller: Tim from a finance company I've never even heard of

Unsolicited call from Tim (English accent) from IQ Capital Partners offering me a free financial health check-up. Before I said anything he started asking me a series of very personal questions about any assets that I might own and how he could consolidate my debts and save me money. He must've thought I have a young voice because, I'm 86 years old, retired lawyer, financially independent and very wary of unsolicited calls from financial sharks. I politely told him to pull my other leg before I report him to the Australian Financial Complaints Authority. Click! He was gone.

This is what he said "Oh good you answered, Hi I am Tim from IQ Capital - today we're offering a free finance check for those who sign up with us"

I did a search of this number and glad I didn't answer it. Thanks for posting

Suspected scam call from "IQ Capital", offering finance advice/booklet. Probably not the best to accept financial advice from an unsolicited caller! I terminated the call.

Didn’t answer, no message left. Assume was scam or telemarketers. Blocked number

Caller: IQ Capital Olivia Anderson

IQ Capital called, apparently this lady Olivia Anderson, said they'd been around for 20 years, asked me 3 questions, 1. Do we have more than $200K equity in our property 2. Do we plan on retiring in less than 5 years 3. Do we have a combined salary of more than $100. She said she'd send me a booklet that would help me claim some type of benefit or assist me with my finances, to be honest l stopped listening and told her this all sounded really odd. I noted she was an Aussie, ie no foreign accent. WFT l don't know, caller now blocked

"Hi, It's Mark from IQ Capital, I'm calling you today to talk about a free finance check"

Told them I am not intersted and to stop calling.
