Caller: He didn't state his name

Indian man asking me to read out the details of my recent power bill. WTF. I said my Dad pays all our household bills. He became very assertive and demanded I bring my Dad to the phone. I felt scared and threatened so I hung up. Then I left the phone off hook for the rest of the day.

Caller: Oliver, Energy Cocsultant.

Possibly a legitimate company but had a foreign accent (very hard to understand) and wanted to talk about our energy supplier. I told him that he was wasting both our time as I was not going to change suppliers. He said he was going to get us a cheaper price with that same company so I asked him for his companies ABN & he hung up on me.

I let the call go to voicemail, but they didn't leave a message. Glad I didn't bother to answer. Thanks to all of those who post here!

A missed call. Called them back and heard, "The no. you have dialed is not in service. Please check the no. and try again." This can't be true for a legit business. Must be a scammer.

Caller: Female with an Indian accent

Delay in her replying to the call she made after I answered. She said she wanted to talk to me about my electricity bill. I hung up without responding.
