Indian accent - pretends he can't hear me and hangs up

Indian male - apparently from security from MasterCard - wanted to verify if I made any international transactions last night. I told him to go and f himself and HUNG UP - SCAM - DO NOT ANSWER!

Caller: Said they were nbn

Said they were from nbn and someone was using my data to make transactions on my account. I said she was a scammer and she told me I was scamming her account. When I said she called , me she told me to shut up and get lost, then hung up.

Advised me they were calling me from Telstra about my internet.
When I told them they weren’t calling me from Telstra she said “yes I am, yes I am”. I hung up and checked this mobile number.
Seems to have been used a few times for various things.

I received a call from this number. I answered it and as soon as there was a delay in a response on the other end, I hung up. After checking this number online and seeing the comments, I'm glad I did. The number is now blocked.

Just had this exact same call from a male

Didn't answer but been getting calls for the past few days. Checked here and now the number is blocked (posting here to record that they're still happening on today's date).

When I answered this call there was a few seconds of silence then a "plop" sound, followed by background noise which sounded like a call centre. A woman's voice (with an Indian accent) came on purporting to be from the security department of Visa and Mastercard. I told her I couldn't hear her properly and she promptly hung up. I've had similar calls from this same number previously, all of them scams.

Answered, sounded hollow like a call centre and they hanged up straight away. 5 mins later got another call from another number that was also 'suspected spam'.

Received a call from this number today as being from Commbank- I told him I would contact my bank, to which he said that they couldn’t help. I insisted - and he hung up.

When I answered this call there was a short silence followed by a "plop" sound, then a female voice with what sounded like a Filipino accent told me she was from the security department of Visa and Mastercard and that someone (she gave a name which was Rebecca something) had made a purchase of around $500 using my card in New Zealand earlier today. I repeated the first name of Rebecca then said "Oh yes, that's quite OK thank you" and waited. There was a short time of what sounded like stunned silence, then she hung up. At least this time they had a live caller rather than a recorded message...still it's the same old scam.

It's been relentless all day with these calls from different numbers. I just google the number and then block it after reading the comments. So sick of it. Luckily it does come up potential fraud on my phone but I still like to make sure.

SAID THEY'RE FROM COMMONWEALTH BANK CALLING ABOUT AN UNAUTHORISED INTERNATIONAL TRANSACTION ON MY CBA ACCOUNT TO THE UNITED STATES IN THE AMOUNT OF $488.
I SAID I'LL CHECK MY ACCOUNT AND SHE SAID THE TRANSACTION IS CURRENTLY PENDING. AFTER CHECKING MY ACCOUNT THERE WAS NO SUCH TRANSACTION MADE SO I KNEW ITS A SCAM.
WHEN I TOLD HER I GOT ANOTHER CALL WAITING, SHE GOT AGGRESSIVE SAYING THIS IS MORE IMPORTANT CALL AND THAT I NEED TO GO THROUGH SOME PROPER AUTHORISATION.
I TOLD HER TO f*ck OFF AND HUNG UP.

Caller: With an Indian accent

Call from this number claiming to be from the Commonwealth Bank asking about a supposed international transaction from a CBA account. He asked no verification details. He could not provide any details of the account from which this supposed transaction took place. When pressed for a CBA number for me to call to verify myself, he hung up.

Recorded message from Commonwealth bank about "activity a little while ago for $1800". Press 1 to cancel , press 2 to confirm. Press 1 - "Michael" answered the phone as CBA how can I help you. I said I don't know, you rang me. If they're going to scam at least have a plausible story lined up. Told him what I thought of him and hung up. Number blocked.

I answered. A lady said hello and hang up right away

CLAIMED THEY WERE CALLING ABOUT AN INTERNATIONAL TRANSACTION ON MY CBA ACCOUNT IN THE AMOUNT OF $499 - WHEN I ASKED THEM TO REPEAT WHICH BANK THEY WERE REFERRING TO - SHE HAD TO ASK SOMEONE SITTING NEXT TO HER WHAT THE NAME OF THE BANK WAS - THAT PERSON PROMPTED HER - COMMONWEALTH BANK - BUT THE LADY COULDN'T SAY IT PROPERLY & PROMPTLY CUT ME OFF. I DON'T HAVE CBA ACCOUNTS .....
