Think this was a PayPal scam

Like all the other posts here - a scammer.

Why can't ACMA get on top of this? We taxpayers fund this Government Department to protect us from scammers. They are not earning their keep!

Claimed to be from commonwealth bank

Scam call claiming to be calling about my Telstra WiFi. I have never had a Telstra account. When I challenged the woman she hung up on me. Definitely a scam call

Fake Amazon Prime recording. I know this because I don't even have Amazon Prime.

Caller stated he was "Mark Chapman` from Visa and Mastercard department checking whether i had just made a $800 transaction. 'Mark Chapman` had the strongest indian accent that I could hardly understand him. Huge scam.

claiming to be from the bank & my account is being emptied & I need to act fast. These scammers are claiming a lot of Australians hard earned money. I just filed a report with SCAM WATCH & hoe they get these low lifes who prey on the vulnerable

This number rang at the same time as (02) 8526 6359. Two numbers at once has happened a few times now. Seriously, why can't these telcos get control of this?

Thanks for the above advice. Like everone else I simply blocked this number. Friday seems the day spammers get active

Left a blank voicemail, but I could hear lots of voices in the background which sounded like a call centre.

This number called me. Don't know what they want. Must be visa scam because I don't have a visa.

Mine was Credit Card dept re an $800 international transaction……had 2 calls from this number today…..first time they hung up before I said anything…..
