Hang Up Spam

They left a message on my voicemail - they burped

Stated they were from ABS, when I declined to disclose my family income she said ‘whatever, you are useless’ then hung up on me.

Caller: Claimed to be from bureau statistics

Asked a few questions I told them not answering questions as I believed they could be a scam I hung up on them

Tried ringing back and Optus advised me that the number is incorrect. It’s spam. Blocked

Samsung marked as Suspected Scam, number blocked

Caller: Scam pretending to be the Aust bureau of statistics

Indian woman pretending to be from the Australian Bureau of Statistics.
Asks For personal info.
Hang up and block this number.

Caller: Unknown caller

When I answered this call there was a long period of silence, then a loud "plop" sound followed by background noise which sounded like a large room with other voices in the distance. I hung up before they could start with their spiel, as this sort of call has always meant a scam call previously. They haven't called back so far.

Caller did not leave a message. Can’t be genuine, otherwise they would leave a message. Why phone them back ? Now blocked.

Someone misappropriated my name from a letterbox in 2009. I don't k ow what they did but I haven't had a call for a good while... this seems like one of those chasing down calls as they have some name details wrong from that time

When I said I did not want to answer their questions the woman said they would call back every day. Tax payer dollars at work. There must be something better they can do with our taxes
