Caller: For some statistics

Asked whether my age is between 25-55, and whether I am single, married or de facto

Caller: Claimed to to the Australian Bureau of Statistics

Clearly a scam as government departments have unknown numbers.

Had my name, left message and clearly not legitimate intentions. Scam and now blocked.

Ever since I activated my number with Boost mobile all I do is get spam phone calls daily and this is one of them, even though I'm on the "do not call register"

My phone identifies it as 'Suspected Spam' - I'm going to block it :)

came up as a suspected spam on my phone. Will block it as I checked Reverse Australia and going through the comments the number is definitely a scam as the number is from a different company each time and the caller did not leave a message

Claimed to be Moreton Bay Regional Council. Couldn’t give me a way to confirm that. Asked my age group, whether I was single married or defacto then if I was employed. When I said I wasn’t working they hung up.

Left a voicemail with a girl giggling and a male voice in the background then they hung up

Hi is that (my name) me yes we are calling from council then I hung up too many of these calls average 6 a day (potential fraud) best to block

Claimed to be from Brisbane City Council wanting personal info for research on the cost of living. Hung up when I said I wouldn't be answering any questions. Clearly calling from overseas call centre.

Calls constantly. Such a nuisance.

Stated was Bureau of Statics, stated my name & asked if my age was between 25 to 55. When I said No & stated to question her, she hung up! Knew it was not a Government Dept as I work for one & know our numbers are displayed as private plus introduction was not correct & way to quick - Tactics to throw the receiver off!

Called asking for my age, when i questioned which council and she gave me the wrong one, they hung up

clearly yet another useless ( to society ) scammer.. Whatever you do people, do not return these calls..

Claiming to be from our council asking age/gender and personal info. Hangs up when you question them.

Was a mobile number, Gov agencies don't have visible numbers.

Cant pronounce my name but insisted in knowing if i am me for identification. Hung up when i insited to kwn who she was. Not an Aussie accent. When I call the number back it didn't even ring

Didn't answer. Rang number back from work landline.. Does not exist. BLOCK IT
