Caller: Scam

Listens to you for 30 seconds then hangs up. Sounded like they were in a call centre.

Caller: Said they were from the visa mastercard division of commonwealth bank

They said they were from the visa mastcard department of commonwealth bank and asked if I was sending money overseas to Canada - I told them I wasn’t with that bank and they hung up on me

Could not call back

Caller: Scam

Said they were from PayPal account security. I don’t have a PayPal.

Caller: an asian sounding woman

This number called representing Paypal stating I had $900 owing on my account. They have called my number many times.

Caller: Don't know

The caller said he is from amazon and claimed that I ordered an iPhone 16 from California in the USA. But the thing is I do not have any Amazon account

Caller: An Indian Lady

Called saying they were from Service NSW and there's a problem with my driver's licence, once i started recorded she hung up and I could not call back.

They called and claimed they were from PayPal. They also knew my first and last name somehow.

Knew my last name but hung up before asking any questions

Caller: They said they were from Telstra and the internet ip has been compromised. They talked really fast and made no sense whatsoever. Hung up.

Think it was a scam.

Caller: Women. Foreign accent.

Said they were from Paypal and that I had unauthorized transactions on my account. I hung up.

Caller said they were from Telstra and had my name, said they were calling about my internet that is under my name although neither my home nor business internet is under my name.
As soon as I said internet not under my name, they hung up.

Caller: The sounds of silence

I got silence for like 10secs then a voice, then they hung up on me

Hackers do not speak

Said they were from Telstra so I hung up

Caller: Female

call from a female claiming to be from visa mastercard security. I asked her what she was calling about and she said that she needed to verify me. The call was clearly from a call centre because of delay between answering and being spoken to and the background noise. However, she was well spoken,. She said my full name and said that she had my email address and the last 3 digits of my card but that she could not provide them unless and until I verified. I said that clearly a scam and she hung up on me.

Scam

I ignored their call and they did not bother leaving a voicemail. Definitely just another scammer.

Have called twice. Didn’t answer either call.

Long delay .. then I hung up
