Caller: Scam

Call claiming to be from Amazon. She couldn’t even answer one question about why she was calling. Clearly no English language skills and was relying on reading the scam script only.

Called pretending to be from Telstra, claiming that my internet security had been compromised.

Pretended to be from the Australian Cyber Security Centre claiming my socials had been hacked. Wanted me to put phone on loud speaker so I could download their app etc. Scam.

Claimed to be from Microsoft saying my computer has been compromised. Hung up on me after being questioned about her legitimacy.

They asked to have a word with me, I said could I ask who was speaking, they said no ma’am you may not, I said well then I’m not going to speak with you and they hung up on me. Incredibly stupid scammers.

Pretending to be PayPal, calling from somewhere with an Indian accent and the sound of things being moved and horns beeping in the same area. Absolute scammer and hung up the moment o said they were a scammer and my brother was a cop

Pretended to be from Telstra… regarding dropped connections. Didn’t like being asked where she was located and promptly hung up when challenged

Called claiming to be from PayPal. Asked for their office location and they hung up

Caller: claimed to be transaction department at National Australia Bank

I don't even bank with them. Indian accent. Introduced themselves. A bank calling from a mobile number?? I was obviously dubious so they hung up.

Asked "Am I speaking to [my name]" - when i confirmed, he hung up. So dodgy.

0486 896 369, unknown number so I didn't answer. Had various scam calls from people with Indian accents lately. I enjoy wasting their time but on this occasion I was too busy.
