Caller: Compare energy prices caller

Was expecting a call and the number looked local, so I answered. Unfortunately as usual it was a compare energy prices caller, but they weren't rude or anything. I just said I didn't need their services and she said 'no worries thank you for answering my call, have a good day'.

Picked up the phone. They handed up on me.

Caller: Compare energy

Called me 5 times. Thinking could be a urgent call. Answered and It’s from compare energy company. Telemarketing…..

No idea as I don't recognize the number

Called. No message left. Looked at ReverseAustralia. Blocked.

Don't know if the $250 was worth the cold call; don't like that they know my name.

Called our business around 5 times and hung up every time I answered.

This number is causing a serious disturbance to my workplace. It rings a landline so I cannot tell, apart from recognizing the number, that it is a scam. When I answer they just hangup. Telco's should be able to see who owns these numbers and block them.

Keeps calling me I answered once & it was silent - blocking now

Spam call which I did not answer. This number should be blocked by telecom companies like spam e-mail now is.

Don’t answer

Rang 8 times during tea. Did not answer having had 5 calls from a similar number the day before. Looked them up on this site and found out they are scammers surprise surprise. I wonder why the do not call register does not seem to deter them. Do not answer

Spam and repeated nuisance calls

I told the caller that my number is registered to Do Not Call (https://www.donotcall.gov.au/) and she could not call my number for telemarketing. It seems that she had no idea about it. I think this is not part of her training. What a shame!

Have had this number call multiple times a day and my phone shows it as suspected spam so I refuse to answer it
