Caller: Credit corp I had an unpaid bill with Optus before going to Telstra (long story but I shouldn’t pay because I’m not paying for service not giving, anyway) Optus has sold that debt to the debt collector company credit corp.
They didn’t leave a message but I saw in my email that they “scheduled me in for a talk to repay the debt”
Debt collector buy your debt for basically nothing like 25% (or less) of what you “owe” and the rest is just profit for them.

Called twice in the same day a few hours apart but didn’t leave a message, unsure who it is, thought it might have been my bank or something to do with my workers compensation claim or Centrelink but you’d think any of those would leave a message and literally beside those and family members I have no one else who would have my number or need to call me. So I’d say probably a scam

Called me once last week and once this week, rang a few times and then hung up without leaving a message. Googling the number with 61 in front says is an escort service. Have now blocked the number.
