warning suspicious number comes up

Got a call from this number - that did not leave a message. Out of curiosity I connected but didn't speak. They hung up straight away. I'm calling it a Scam Call.
Number is now blocked.

My phone alerted me it may be a scam, so I answered aware. It was typical scammer behaviour - they hang up immediately, hoping you'd be curious enough to call them back. (A 'wangiri' scam, which translates to "one ring and cut".) This scam tricks victims into calling back at a premium rate number, then tries to get you to stay on the line, resulting in high phone charges to you, which they collect part proceeds from.
