Potential scam?

Has called me everyday this week but I didn't answer

Caller: Information direct?

Missed call on 23/08/2022 so I called back
The caller said they were from "information direct". In regards to Superannuation insurances changing and to see if I was affected.
I think they were phishing for info (I was sceptical) as they asked if I worked full time within the last 10 years, asked for my age bracket (27-65) and asked for my full name - which I lied by correcting them with a false name for security sake.

Told me they would process this information and that I would receive a call tomorrow. Looking at other comments it looks like they will try to scam me by selling said insurance tomorrow.

Caller: S.A.A

Unsolicited call referring to superannuation investments. I asked why he was calling me? He said my super money needs to be invested safely for my retirement and that is what his company does. He admitted he dosen't know who my fund is yet but he knew my name and dob. Alarm bells started ringing. I'm NOT going to risk my hard earned super to some stranger who calls me out of the blue! I've dobbed him in to CBUS.

Caller: Superannuation Advice Australia Company

Financial advisor firm using cold calls from purchased list - had my birth name which is not the name I use. Pretends to be a survey on first call, then calls back next day for the 'sell'. Also uses 0489 990 241

Scam I believe

Caller said she is calling from Information Connect and will ask 3 questions as part of the survey in relation to my super and then a financial advisor will call me later to discuss whether my funds have been invested properly to benefit me most.

I asked if they know my super fund name and any other details - she says no.
Then I asked "How do you know my super fund has not been invested properly" - lady says the financial advisor will be able to discuss it with you.

I told the lady that I m not interested at all and would not like to be called.

Straight away this sounded like an absolute scam - so be careful.

Caller: I don't know

Called me this afternoon, I picked up and they immediately hung up. It registered as a local number, so I have no idea who it was or what they wanted.

This number rang me mid-afternoon 13/7/22. Didn't ring many times. I didn't answer. No message, no call-back. This is a great invasion of my privacy. How dare they disturb me. There are real and serious issues in my life. If the person who called reads this - leave me alone. Make it stop! I've blocked the number, but what a shame that I couldn't stop it from calling me in the first place.
