I was suspicious, but after checking, the sms was from my medical app.

this is legitimate. it's HotDoc and just confirms your appointment. please dont mark it as spam

Got sms message. Appears to be HotDoc's but it was for me to cancel or confirm an appointment I do not have, did not book and at a time pre opening time for the surgery. Went online to my HotDoc account and it shows no appointments. I am assuming its a scam.

HotDoc is a platform allowing you to book Doctors Appointments and/or send you appointment details and messages. Only works if your Medical Centre/Clinic uses it.

from reading the above messages I gather this number is HOT DOC, requesting to make an appt.
I have blocked this number as I find it annoying. They do not Identify themselves at the beginning of the text.
So I block any and all unidentified numbers.....BLOCKED.

This is a scam. Obviously HOTDOC has been breached and a scam is making random messages confirming payment details using their platform. Do not engage.

this is 100% a scam block the number ...its sending my daughter texts about birth control ...she's 12

Number is legit. Message said “click ….(link)… to confirm/cancel appointment, or reply YES/NO” clicked on it and took me straight to hot doc to confirm

Scam?? Have had an sms twice from this number asking me to give payment details for an appt that a nurse from my practice had made on HotDoc. I clicked on the link and as it all seemed legitimate and gave my payment details which had not been registered when I checked in at the practice. When I called the number that came with the sms I got the msg that the number I had dialled had been disconnected.

Looked suspicious, but on checking here saw that the number was Hot Doc. It was legitimate and was confirming my Dr's appointment.

This number is associated with the hot docs appointment service for medical practitioners and you will usually receive a text message afterwards if you don't answer the call that will get you to confirm your appointment or ask you to call your doctor. Totally legitimate number

Got two messages several days apart to confirm a medical appointment. I did not make that appointment and have never visited that doctor. scam

Had a confirm Y N text response and a link to click on. Link address was different for each text message.

I received a Txt stating I made a booking with a health profession that I visited only once some time ago. It said to confirm a booking with Hot Doc for a certain date and click the link. Also asked to respond Yes or No. I didn't click the link but did respond No. Thinking it was weird but might have been an automatic reminder I logged into the Hot Doc but there was no appointment in there so this is a scam.
