Caller: Text saying eBay

I received a text saying from eBay with a dodgy looking link, it said SMS to stop to the mobile number provided, probable Phishing scam.

Received text asking to click on link to receive a $10 voucher. It’s a scam

This scum have been sending sms since 2019 claiming to be afterpay or ebay. Plus always with link & text stop to blah blah
They have my name & number
Keep in mind ebay Do NOT send sms or ring phone all contact from them is e mail

Claiming to be from eBay wanting you to sign up for their emailing list. This sounds like a phishing scam.

Supposed to be from eBay but all looked suspicious with email address having to in it I looked up to & it,s Tonga. So it’s a scam

I received a text message (which purportedly came from ebay.com.au) which told me to go to a dodgy-looking on-line address to arrange afterpay payments for ebay purchases, and also gave this phone number to call or SMS to stop receiving these messages. Needless to say, I neither went to the on-line address, nor contacted the phone number, as I believe this to be a scam attempt.

I was texted by the number 0485 817 890 and the text said : Unlock 22% off* with ebay plus ir take 22% off* your EOFY faves now://https:eej.at/TKJPDrwM*T&Cs apply.SMS 'Stop' to 0485817890, I believe this to be a scam but I just blocked it and reported it

I received a text saying from eBay with a dodgy looking link, it said SMS to stop to the mobile number provided, probable Phishing scam. They also try to change paypal password, be carfull not to respond

Got the following text today from this/these criminals...

It looks like an eBay SMS message, possibly a scam. Do not click or respond. Block and report spam (even if it's coming from eBay.)

Offering 22% off with your exclusive Plus offer. Bogus link yet this is set out exactly like ebay SMS and the phone number is the same as one in November, 2022 for Black Friday Sales on Ebay.
