Caller: Aussie Protect

Awakened by a call from 0485 817 767 with short silent pause before hearing ‘Hi, this is Jan from Aussie Protect, how are you today?’
Me: ‘not so good, you’ve just woken me after having worked nightshift.’
She sounded shocked and replied ‘oh I’m so sorry, turn your phone to silent then’.
I would if I could, but the phone is used for emergency service worker call outs!

I didn't answer the call, whoever it was didn't leave a message. Looked up number on here, glad I didn't answer. Blocked the number.

I answered and they just hung up

Telemarketing/ Tele sales mob. Block any other numbers they spoof.

Supposedly a call centre acting on behalf of charities. his is the second mobile number they have used to call. Previous one, like this one now blocked.
I suspect they are using personal information contained on NCAC website to obtain numbers of the Public Officer of charities.
