Spam call! Not Telstra

Call from Telstra, wanted to give 40% discount, i requested verification code sent to phone. They sent code from VIC ROADS (just for verification). they had my Email Addresss and mobile phone number. Indian Speaking language.. Asked where they were calling from, they replied Sydney. I questioned the Vic Roads verification number coming from Telstra. They hung up. BE AWARE. SCAMMERS

Apparently the person was Telstra, fishing for info
Asked if I wanted a discount to my internet service that isn’t even provided by them

Caller: Claimed to be from Telstra

No identity checks were requested and claimed to be calling from Telstra Sydney call centre. If it was Telstra, it was a very unprofessional call centre operator with poor grasp of the English language, likely a scammer looking to get personal information.
