Caller: NUMBER IS A SCAM. Claiming to be from Telstra. Told me I have qualified for 50% off my bill for 6 months. All I need to do is confirm my identity with a code. Next thing - I get a text from yahoo giving me a code to change the password for my email address! Fortunately the text also stated “if someone is asking you for this code it is a scam. Fortunately I did not give the code! Telstra confirmed it was a scam. Scam

Called 11.46am, thick accent, claiming to be from (?) marketing department and offering 50% discount over 6mths.
