This number is from a foreign entity trying to confirm names to associate with numbers they have. i.e. SCAMMERS! In my case they got it wrong anyway! HA HA, I hung up quickly and reporting here. Aust with light accent - (practised?) or recruiting Australians, who knows Said he was from Peninsula Australia, and when I asked and what are you selling he said not selling anything, something about fair work practices etc. I am not an employer so said sorry you've got wrong person. Just a warning to others, do not buy anything from unsolicited phone calls and report their numbers pls so others know.

"Ashton" left me a message saying he was from Peninsula HR - I've actually put in a few job applications recently, so I called back thinking it might be a recruitment agent. The number went through to a call centre and they put me through to the person who called me - same voice (very distinctive Aussie male voice, sounded like Chris Hemsworth!), but this time was calling himself "Sebastian". Tried to sell me HR services for "your business", when I asked what business he told me the name of a PTY Company I previously owned, but was shut down about 5 years ago! I told him he should try to buy more up-to-date info next time they tried to scam someone and hung up. Clearly they buy lists from somewhere, very unethical way of doing business - avoid!!

said she was contacting small businesses in my area regarding Fairwork obligations (scare tactics)I asked where she was calling from Peninsula. Asked if i was handling payments to employees, I responded yes not my own, she okayed then hung up on me!! Peninsula was Employsure and after past experience I would advise anyone to steer clear.
