Caller: Greenpeace (allegedly)

I suspect it's not Greenpeace, themselves, but whoever they've contracted to do their telemarketing. I've had three calls from them - all from different numbers - over the past three days since signing an online petition. The form does not allow petitioners to sign without a phone number.
Some years ago I had a negative experience with another environmental organisation's telemarketing contractor - for a year I'd been making monthly donations but started receiving calls asking me if I could increase my monthly donation. It was so bad that I sent an email directly to the organisation and stated that if the calls continued, I would stop making donations entirely. It stopped for a while, but then I had another call and that was the end of my donations. I wish that organisations would stop outsourcing their telemarketing to companies that clearly don't have their interests at heart, and don't care if they're alienating the very people who would otherwise be only too happy to assist with their cause.

I'm getting really fed up with unsolicited calls from Greenpeace. I tried to do the right thing and sign a petition I believed in, and now everyday for at least 3 days in a row, I have received a missed call from them with no message left. Very disappointing and frustrating considering you have to leave your mobile number to be able to sign the petition. I will think twice about signing their petitions again becuase of this.

Along with 0429 523 033, getting about two calls a day from this number for the last three days. I would actually be pleased if it was Greenpeace as others have described, as that would make sense.
