Caller: Clever Contacts Clever Contacts rang on behalf of Surf Lifesavers, whom I support via DD.
They were seeking to get me to donate more money as I "qualified" to be in a special draw. I told them no.
Marketeers relentlessly pursue me on both my home phone and my mobile. They change their phone number every time, hoping to catch me out (they got me this time - as I was expecting a call, and didn't check the number before pickling up): Now I know it's Clever Contacts.
My response was to Ring Surf Lifesavers, and cancel my "Membership", and halt all direct debit arrangements immediately. I explained to them that I will not have anything to do with any company/organisation/charity that engages the services of Clever Contacts. Full stop.
