said someone had taken out $1500 of my account and press 1 to report it.....i hung up, beware everyone

Caller with Indian accent said that our line involved in illegal dealings, I asked them what should I do? He then asked me to look at the internet switch box and I told him we do not have any and I told him our business do not use any computer and just using pen and papers. He just gave up and wished me a great day.

Several recently registered complains about this slimy scammer phishing for unsuspecting prey spouting various PayPal or Visa Mastercard payment repair glitches. Best to ignore 0483 945 597 as an unsafe number, but also delete and report this grifter.

Told me call re Visa card, over $1,0000 gone from my account on a gift card did I authorise it? Press 1 etc etc I hung up.

This number called me11:29am today. I answered and there was a recorded message asked me if I made a $999 purchase and press 1 if I didn't, then transferred me to a person with an Indian accent who said he was from Pay Pal and someone has used my Pay Pal details to purchase an iPhone15 for $999. I said can you stop this transaction and he said - Do you have a computer? I immediately thought this doesn't feel right and told him to F@#% OFF and hung up! Pay Pal has never called me and they do everything on email. Now blocked this number.
